Consecutive titles for an Indian side in GLAC!

South Zone's batting innings was powered by couple of 90s from Sai Sudharsan and Daryl Mitchell.
Skipper Mayank Agarwal and Azmatullah Omarzai made 20s while Sai Kishore's 17 down the order gave them
the perfect total for the final.

Gerald Coetzee and Vidwath Kaverappa gave their side the perfect start from a bowling perspective.
Travis Head and opposition skipper Mohammad Haris almost emulated the Sudharsan-Mitchell stand.
But Washington Sundar's timely dismissal of Head opened the floodgates as wickets kept tumbling for Peshawar.
Haris departed soon, courtesy of Rashid Khan, and from there all hopes of a comeback were lost when Miller was run-out by his saffa teammate Coetzee.

Peshawar Region were definitely undone by the lack of support from rest of the batters but to be honest, it was more of a fault of their bowling side today.
Apart from Mitchell Starc and to some extent Azam Khan, no one bowled well enough.
Sajid and Abbas were on the expensive side while Mohammad Imran was really disappointing, giving runs at economy of 8.

Sai Sudharsan was adjudged Player of the Tournament for being the top run-scorer of the tourney.
343 runs at an Avg of 49 and SR of 97 (one 100, two 50s)

Miller was such a bum this tournament man, we'd have done it if he hadn't shit the bad and found even the slightest bit of support from the other end, even if it came from somebody like Sajid Khan, but goddamn Miller not choke in a final.

Nevertheless, thank you for the tournament and I do feel the strongest team (at least on-paper) got away with the crown, so there really is nothing for us to be ashamed of. If anything, I think we punched way above our weight to get to this point. Incredibly proud of the boys, but it still hurts to come this close and not win.

Batsman well backed by the bowlers, almost everyone performed well at various stage of the tournament, which led us to lift the trophy. Feeling bad for Peshawar, for the first time In league finale, I felt losing final is fine to few of my boys. Hard luck @Na Maloom Afraad Thanks for another great league @Paranoid Kendroid well managed right from the drafts to finish.
