Global Premier League X

I would have liked to have retained RTD, but i wasn't here when you chose the players to retain. Oh well.

I feel that RTD is better. Anyways, I'll change it if you guys want as the rating as nearly same as the old season

Even I thought the same but you rarely played RTD and Morgan was great in S6 so took him for you

It's completely your call so don't change it just because of me, but I'd rate Riaz well ahead of of RTD.

Here's something that puts his bowling in perspective.

For Essex in List A cricket, this is just Essex, so no Netherlands crap where his average gets inflated against Namibia etc.

1861 balls, 1908 runs, 56 wickets, average 34.07, E/R 6.15!

Compare that to Netherlands in List A cricket:

2083 balls, 1733 runs, 76 wickets, average 22.80, E/R 4.99

Last season alone for Essex in List A circket, he played nine matches, he bowled 53 overs, took nine wickets at 39, and had an E/R 6.58!

FTR he averages 35 with the ball in FC cricket for Essex, with an E/R of 4.03, yes, his E/R is over four in FC for Essex. While for Netherlands in FC against all the no name players, he averages 23.

Sorry for the rant (:p), it's just that I get annoyed when he's rated so highly because he dominates all the random countries Netherlands play, when even in county cricket he's only slightly better than a part timer, and I'm just guessing but he would probably bowl a similar amount to what Bopara does for Essex, as for Essex in List A cricket, Bopara averages 27 with an E/R of 5.47, so Bopara might even bowl more than him.

Look here if you want to further see how overrated he is. :spy

Go:

Code:
http://cricketarchive.com/cgi-bin/ask_the_player_oracle.cgi

Then type in the player you want under "player name", and click the "Player Profile" checkbox just above where you type in the player name, then click "Submit".

Then when the player comes up with his full profile, click "matches and more detailed statistics", below the "Teams" part, and that should come up.

There is a link in the Blackcaps site which is easier to find, but that only contains players who've played for New Zealand teams.

I don't think his batting average needs any change. I've rated him below 35 only. Yeah sorry Callum thought that ODI are not counted in ListA but it seems so so guess I'll revise the ratings again
