Global Premier League X

We don't have Swann. As simple as that. If anything, its our batsmen who've led us all the way here to Dubai. Our bowlers have been absolutely shite throughout the course of the season. Would love them to prove me wrong, but that's next to impossible.

So near yet so far. Spinners were a massive massive let off there. At 28-4, I started to believe in our chances, but Warne and Abdulla had other ideas.

*looks at the points table and comes back*

*Looks at the no: of wins-to-losses overall for the season and comes back.* (8-6)

Plus you do realize that we're the most successful team in the history of GPL with 2 titles and 3 runners up medal over nine seasons? ;)

Anyways whats the status of the LMS-GPL friendly series or whatever. :p

Yeah that is very much on. Probably come Sunday?

That was entertaining final. Presentation was just wonderful. Congrats Tokyo for that thrilling win.

But, NY weren't pale. They fought till the end. Tokyo run-chase wasn't easy.

That's for sure. Tokyo ain't far away now with 2 titles and runners up. NY and Auckland have 1 title and runner-up each. Kiev (Miami) and Antarctica have one title each and Essex have one runner up

Yeah that pretty much sums it

Sure. Who's simming the matches and all, just discuss that through VM's

Cheers man, but it was Melbourne in the finale. :p
Congrats Tokyo. I hate it when the team that beats me loses
lol, haha. Both the teams beat you at some point or the other. So I assume you wanted Antarctica to win? :p

Some proposals for Season IX

- Only 2 Grade I players
- Full re-draft with each team retaining a maximum of three players
- Grouping the Grade III and Domestic Players i.e. you need to have a fixed no one G3 + Dom players, but you should have atleast four domestics in the squad
- For the lineups I've devised a spilt of 2 G1, 4 G2, 5 (G3 + Dom) and outta them two have to be domestic players

Thoughts??
