Now that I'm done running leagues and rating players, I will point out that '39' is a rating when most of my batsmen have failed miserably. Ever since season 3 of my league, I never rated batsmen at 39, I swear.

As much as I hated both of them, Dhoni and Kohli were rated at 41 by me in the last few seasons of LMS. 'Specially given Dhoni had come through two successive man of the series awards and Kohli as we all know is the best young ODI batsmen by a country mile.

39 is the maximum rating I give batsmen. Any higher and I find they tend to dominate too much.

The maximum batting rating I give is 40.

Alright, so this will most probably be the last GPL season ever because I just want to try something new. I must just return for a tenth season, but the possibility is less. Moreover, I have my board exams upcoming on March, so my new league or season ten would be thought about after that. Thanks to all the managers for their support, especially Haarithan, Tarun and Brook who've been in all nine seasons and Iridium whose been a part of eight seasons and the others like Callum, Varun and all other permanent and temporary managers. I couldn't have completed nine seasons without the support of the excellent managers I had, all of them were damn awesome. Cheers and thanks a lot once again for the support and motivation.
