CPU difficulty file header for unlimited overs:

; Unlimited Overs EASY Level
; HB Studios 2001

HB are using the C2k2 data. I see a lot of work has gone into this.
 
maybe if we put the kits in those paths except changed their extension to .lst it may work?

Yes, the default fields, the cpu pacing files etc are all from c2k2. Far more important obviously to implement loads of new "sellable" features than to actually concentrate on making the gameplay more satisfying

Here's a quick overview of the gfx editing prospects atm:

kits - will be able to be replaced
numbers on kits - only 1 set for the game so not customisable with player names
faces - 25 in the game. Unless we can add more editing these is pretty pointless
stumps - should be replacable
pitch ads - dodgy transparant format from EA. Potentially replaceable but as yet unknown.
stadium ads - replaceable as long as you can find them all...
pitch wearing etc - replaceable
balls - replaceable (if you think it's worth it)
skin texture - I'll keep looking for this as c2k2 was much better once we replaced this
interface - unlikely atm. Made up of lots of files and they haven't got the same names as in C2k2.

If anyone wants to know about whether something is likely to be editable post here and I'll try and help you.
 
I really don't like it when EA reuse the same files...makes one feel so ripped off! :angry:


The kit viewer looks fantastic so far...great job everyone :D...
 
Colin,What about player name commentary.Can we change it as in cricket 2002.
 
I haven't looked. I imagine we can unpack the .pak file but uexpanded it would probably be about 2/3 GB and I don't have the time or the diskspace. I believe that melbournemartin was looking at it. Maybe he can tell us what he's found.
