Not sure how long it will be there (usually only a day), but today's Google Doodle is a cricket game!

I'm delighted at this, as I had a long running joke with a colleague that one day we would make "Crickets playing Cricket", as she was VERY American and had never heard of the sport: she thought I had previously made some sort of game about insects.
Looks like Google got in first.

Amazingly, it's actually REALLY good. It captures the raw essence of cricket almost better than anything I've played before!

After that being said. I started playing half a second late. Got many boundaries and got high score too.



I love the bowling variations and this game is addictive also.

Let's have a competition of who can make the highest score. What do you guys say?

finally cracked the century. Took a while, but got there.

Got done in by a laser straight bullet. No time to react.

I was close of getting a century, but the quicker ball is really though to handle. Specially when AI mixes up with slow and slower balls.

Scored my first century. The game gets difficult after you score 50+ runs. I thought I can score 150+ but slower ball got me :/
