Discuss the game, your progress, and share hints/tips.

I started playing last week and I've reached till the "sweet's girl" mission.

I have the PS2 version.

I'm in Las Venturas, doing mussions for Wu Zi Mu.

I might give up and try the PC version though, because its so much easier with a mouse/keyboard :)

I just got it last week for PC. Managed to get onto the first mission outside Los Santos today moving onto the Badlands.

That Sweets Girl mission is quite hard though, took me quite a while to do. I just ended up trying to run as many of the rival gang members as possible over with a car before I started trying to shoot them down.

Yes try updating your graphics card drivers. It seems you have the nVidia Geforce drivers by Microsoft which are the ones that come with Windows XP, if you go to the nVidia website and download the latest ones it might work properly.

Thanks for ur help guys. Updating my driver from nVidia really helped it. I can play it now without any problems.

For completing the Sweets Girl mission,do what Ste said. That's what I did.

Run over all the people shooting on the street, then get out,and shoot the 2 people on the stairs.

Of course,it helps if you have a good rating with the gun you're using.

You'll unlock Ammu-Nation soon, there's a practice range there.I suggest getting "Hitman" for all the guns.It makes the missions alot more easier :)

I might get the pc version this weekend.....and I'll have to collect all those 100 tags again :(

I also got this game on the PS2. I've already beaten it 100% since I got it like 2 days after it came out, and I'm starting a new game again and going to try to beat it 100% without any cheats this time. I just started about a week ago and I finished on that mission of Ryders where you steal weapons from the military

I agree unless it's really impossible to get thru some level.

for sweet's girl, I ren over 1/2 of them, then used cover well to shoot others.
After that I went with Ryder for the 'house cleaning' followed by visit to the gym :)

There's this mission called Supply Lines. Its so tough that I actually considered using cheats to get past that mission.Luckily,I finished that mission after a week of trying :)

You should try getting your stamina and muscle to atleast half full...it helps alot later on
