Maybe I'm the only one, but personally I don't think a brilliant side should be losing just because of a stupid last-minute injury and no replacement being available.

I like the injuries idea. Nevertheless, I'm ok either way with the replacements rule.

Injuries are not as common as you think.

INJURIES

Injuries are randomly simulated to give this league somewhat of a realistic edge.
Players that play without a rest are more likely to get injured.

Following are the types of injuries:

Degree 1

- Can play with a 25% ratings decrease; 50% chance of developing a Degree 2 Injury
Heals fully after a one-game rest

Degree 2

- Can play with a 50% ratings decrease; 75% chance of developing a Degree 3 Injury
Heals fully after a two-game rest

Degree 3

- Out for one game; instantly made unavailable
Will play one game with a 25% ratings decrease upon return

Degree 4

- Out for three games; instantly made unavailable
Will play one game with a 15% ratings decrease upon return

Degree 5

- Ruled out for the entire season
Replacement pick will be allowed

24-hour time limit - at the start of round seven (next round), a 24-hour time limit will be imposed from the first pick.

A 24-hour time window to finish the entire round. If the person with the current pick hasn't posted within the time-limit, their turn gets skipped and the next person in line can immediately make their pick.

RE Injuries: With Asad being the only one against it and others either in favour or okay with it, I've decided to implement the injury system.

so B has time from 3:01 pm to 2:59 pm next day right?

so at what time is C free to make his pick? next day 3 pm? if yes, then isn't it same as now?

No, it's not like that. Only the next person can make their pick, the others will have to wait for their turn or another 24 hours.

he got 21 hours to make his pick, which is well within the limit

but C got 3 hours only,

if C posted at 1 pm,

D has just 2 hours

E and F has less time too

League runner's discretion, I guess. Depends on how unfair of a disadvantage D and E and F have. If they have 4-5 hours each to make a pick, then that's alright. If they have 1 hour to make each of their picks collectively, then I'll extend the limit for a while.

I'm just counting on people being active - which they are, but aren't picking ASAP because of the nature of the draft. They know they aren't going to lose their picks if they take as much time as they want. But if they do start losing their picks, they'll pick ASAP.

You can take time to decide on your pick, but not 24+ hours ffs.
