Quetta Gladiators edge past Peshawar Zalmi in the first playoff after a valiant fightback from their tailenders to secure the win by the barest of margins - just 1 wicket.
Imam-Ul-Haq, Usman Salahuddin and Rassie van der Dussen played splendid knocks that ultimately became the backbone of Quetta Gladiators' successful run chase.
Mohammad Amir was once again fantastic with the ball - picking-up 3 scalps in crucial situations whilst being the most economical to sway the game in Zalmi's favour.
He was supported well by his team - especially Rashid Khan who picked-up 2 wickets and Khalid Usman who broke Imam-Ul-Haq and Usman Salahuddin's partnership.
However, it was Mohammad Nawaz and the valiancy shown by Quetta Gladiators' tailenders that ultimately won Quetta Gladiators the game after all the ups and downs.

It was always given that the wicket would have become easier to bat on as the match progresses. Aamir gave us the perfect start. And it's commendable how close were we able to bring the game. Wondering if going with five bowlers would have made the job done for us (or not).
Two nail bitters for us in a row now. God forbid we have a second chance.
For endings, saved myself a 100k but at what cost!
