Has kp lost his mo-jo?

He is trying to be someone else while batting, he really needs to play like the way he used to in 2004/05.

What made KP so intimidating was his aggressiveness and his confidence. Personaly I would like him back to this sort of player

every great team needs that sort of player , and we should have people like Trott and Colly to play sensiibly if he gets out cheaply. KP should try to be KP, i feel he is almost tryiing to be too sensilbe at the moment. Get the rebel KP back and that average will soar :)

But the run-outs must stop!

:laugh Brilliant. No he hasn't. He's just struggled to find his timing in his first series after returning from a bad achilles injury that troubled him for a while, and one where he had complications with infection after surgery. He's still the best batsman in the England side, and he'll get some confidence bashing the Bangladeshi's about in a few weeks and he'll be back to the player we all know he can be. Any talks of him being finished or past his best are laughable. Didn't help that we rushed him back into the side either, no way he should have played in the T20 games.

Lets see how he goes against Bangladesh

With all due respect, and I really do mean that - I love Bangladesh, but most of our players should expect to average around 50 for this tour. If KP fails here i will be really concerned. He wont though, he will make millions and his place will be secured until he retiers, regardless if he averages 1 from then on.

One poor series and this sort of thing is cropping up? Yes he has been very poor in this series and has lost his timing but he's coming back from quite a serious injury.

If he's still like this come Pakistan this summer then it would be a serious issue but at the moment its just a poor slump in form. Look at Collingwood dreadfully out of form untill the Champions Trophy and this series. He could barely buy a run against Australia barring that one innings he saved us.

Naah people, he is just sick. He is suffering for Yuvi syndome:D.

People suffering from this decease have following symptoms:

*Leaving balls pitched on middle stump
*Chasing wide deliveries.
*Sweeping on the on side on a wide off side ball.
*Subject would be clueless at the crease.
*Subject could be seen playing with jelly beans and some times even throwing them on opposition players.
*Subject would appear to be someone else. May appear possessed by some other player's demon :P
*Subject would deny his natural instincts.
:happy
It is clear that KP is suffering from Yuvi-Syndrome:rtfl:rtfl

He will go back to his form for a short period and again will be back to poor show.

Since coming back from his injury kp just doesnt look the same player he was before, do you think it is just taking him a while to get himself in the groove again? Or is he on a slow decline?
I hope its just the recovery from injury but i think the captaincy issue definately has affected him,
Will the real KP please stand up...

Short answer? Yes.

Have to say, even though I'm a true Aussie, if KP makes runs I want to see them. Always entertaining and I love his strokeplay. Has a few brain lapses every now and then but the thrilling players often do. I would be most sad if he turned into a Kallis type batsman, all defence and just bats time, who wants top sit through one of his borefest innings? KP is the type of player we all want to see in great form, because he makes people turn on their tv's or go to the ground to see him. If someone like Colly is out of form people arequick to drop him because he is so defensive, the attacking guys get a little more leeway in the supporters eyes it seems. KP is a current great who I hope keeps going in his attacking role, just dont be so successful against Aus KP!

Every player goes through a bad patch in their career and KP is also going through it . I am sure he will be back to form soon.

Well he's not really out of form imo. He gifted us his wicket quite a few times in the series. I think he is still not in the mindset of playing Test Cricket, seeing how he got out in the Test Series, and that is understanable, seeing how long he was out for. He just needs to get some FC games under his belt, to get his mindset right.

As painful as it was, the way KP just went nuts smacking Lee all over the place was as entertaining as it gets. I always like positive cricket, whether its us or the opposition. If we lose then we mostly deserve it. We did drop KP early.
