Help me! - No batting radar in my PC

Hey everybody
Can you tell me how to get the batting radar on my PC.
It doesn't appear from when I bought my CD. The bathelp.tim file exists in the tim folder but still the direction radar doesnt appear. I tested my CD on my friend's PC, it appears on his screen.Is it because I dont have a 3D Card. Even the skyline and the development of the helmet do not appear when I use Software option while starting the game but they appear on the screen when I use Direct 3D option to start BLC.

i think it appears only in 3dfx mode

who said it will only appear in 3d fx..........i use Direct 3d and i can see the radar............Soumil when u start to batgo to the options where u can find settings where u can see bat help on or off ........u can on it that may be ur problem

i mean itt appears only in 3dmode ... but it is not working in rivatnt n software mode....

Even I was having the same problem like Soumil. But I kept on trying it replacing the tim again and again. I too use the software to play and I guess you can only work it out in 3d mode
