Hi,

I just started playing Cricket 24, and would really appreciate some help on how to take wickets using a spin bowler (either Finger or Wrist), in a test match. The items I am looking for:
  • What is your general strategy to pick up wickets using spinners. I read about setting up the batsman using the same delivery and then a sudden variation. But I am probably doing something wrong. E.g. I am using a wrist spinner with aggressive field, and bowling 3 or 4 corresponding balls with a leg break and then following up with a googly or top spin, and there seems to be no wickets in 25-30 overs of continuous spin from both ends in the easiest setting. I am making them the play the balls. Here are the details
    • I am bowling a full length ball mostly, (should instead bowl good-length deliveries)?
    • I did try with the effort ball as well-- did not get any results.
    • Is it easier to pick wickets with a finger spinner-- if so what is your strategy? i.e. full length/good length, bounce/flight (how much roughly?),
    • What is the typical field setting? which are the positions where you get most catches?
  • Would these strategy also work on a career mode?
  • Any recommendations on Fast bowlers would also be appreciated.
Really getting frustrated with this. Cannot take any wickets even in the easiest setting. Feels like I making some basic mistake. Sorry for the long post.

I'll be honest. Even if you avoid having short legs and silly points and just have a one slip in at first I am at a loss at how you aren't taking wickets with spinners.
Please guide me-- what length should I bowl? full or good length?--what are the types of deliveries I should work in with the variations?
