Help needed!!!

Wen I earn the right to captain England in my County season, I go to select as many of my countys players as I can so they could get Contracted for England. Seems a smart thing to do but, I play my players for at least 15 ODI'S AND 17 TESTS in a row and they are not contracted the next few seasons although I constantly pick them. The Player That were in the squad before I took over were still contracted even though they had not Played in ages. I get bored of trying and Wen I quit the job and different players are selecteed an play only 1 match, they are contracted.

not a clue, i also seem to have a lot of random players getting contracted for england, after the year 2020 it gos even stranger for me, players who have never plyed for england get contracts and players who play every game dont!

Seems like a bug the way you two have described it, but not having gone past 2020 myself(Nearly there) i can't really comment.

In 2011 my 2nd wicketkeeper, who had played a few matches in 2009, no match in 2010 and wouldn't have played in 2011 much if this hadn't happened, got a contract. He never played a game for England though... nor did he in 2011, nor does he in 2012... But he does average over 55 now instead of the 19 he averaged before 2011... I think this happened with a wicketkeeper in my other game as well... he got to play for England after a few years though.

I think the game has licensed the players who are already in the england

You have to play your players for every game because games played overides stats.

Confused! Help

Didnt want to waste a New Thread just for this -

I am playing as SURREY and as you can see from the screenshot , I dont know why my team got kicked out instead of Sussex. At the end of the Group stage, Surrey and Sussex, both ended up with equal no. of wins, losses, N.R.R and if you want to consider the Head-To-Head after this, I had managed to defeat Sussex on both occasions....

So I am confused as to how Sussex managed to go thru..... :

hmmm, can only be that the game only shows NRR to 1 decimial place, sussex must have a better NRR to 2 decimal places but it just doesnt show it, either way, frustrating

Its not YOU who gets to contract its the game. For instance in my county/england game KP is still for england contract although i have not played him in england for 3 years

Maybe you are right...

But in the Table, for the other 3 teams its showing 2 decimal places...

Actually in the last match agst. Kent, chasing a target of 116, I had raced away to 106 in 15 overs when the first wkt fell...then I kept both batsman at Normal and they took another 3 overs to get those 10 runs.....

Now I think thats made the big difference in the end
