Haven't heard Blue but saw the Jiggy Wiggy song on B4U and couldn't believe it was Rahman.

But as with usual Rahman, it sounds terrible the first time you hear it, and it grows on you.... but I really doubt that's going to happen here.

It does happen! First, I hated the 'Chiggy Wiggy' song when I saw the trailer with Kylie and Akshay. But the more I listened to it, the more it grew on me.

Listen to the whole song of 'Chiggy Wiggy' (if you want). The ones on these channels are not the full versions. Apart from that, songs like 'Fiqrana', 'Bhoola Tujhe', 'Blue Theme', 'Rehnuma' and 'Yaar Mila Tha' are really good. Its the usual 'slow poison' of Rahman. If you dont like it first hear, most probably you need to give it time and you will like it. We always dont like the best quality so early. We need to give time because our ears and mind are accustomed to listening to the mediocre and bad quality.

Then you got to grow a few more years, mature and then start listening to the songs of AR Rahman. I was the same about 3-4 yrs back when I thought that the songs that I liked immediately were the best. But as it turned out, they went faster out of my mind (and from my music playlist in my car and Ipod) than the songs that took its time to get used to.

Yeah. One thing I have noticed is that the songs you like straight away usually dissipate from your playlist in about 2 weeks, whereas the ones which Rahman produces (ones which you gradually like), you'd still be listening to them months down the line.

He he... YES! How was the dance in that song? One of the best ever dance performances I've seen. Also you should watch that song "Muqabla Muqabla" from the same film. Awesome performance by Prabudeva.
