Hindi Music Thread

Hum hai rahi pyaar ke is a mixture of all the oldies classic songs and lyrics. I read in the newspaper that this song was dedicated to all the oldies singer like Rafi & Kishore Da and also music director like Pancham Da.

Each phrase of this song is a part of an old song. Ex it starts with Jeena yahan, marna yahan which was an old song in Raj Kapoor's film. If you will listen it carefully, you will get it.

Being a classic singer myself, I always like songs which do not have the raps.

Anyone still listen to Chale Chalte from Pakeezah?

:)

I liked some of the older stuff, Dil Se, Yes Boss, and a lot that I just can't remember now. But all the new music kinda sucks, all Dance Music, or slow love ballads. Rock On was brilliant though.

Listen to Jai Ho by AR Rahman in Slumdog Millionaire and tell me that all new Music sucks ;)

Yeah Maaeri was cool.

I just remembered my all time favourite. The "Panchi Nadiya, Pawan Ke Jhonke" from Border, what a fantastic song, stunning lyrics.
