I watch them as they are (in Hindi).

its actually urdu spoken in indian movies
prime example watch kbc and u will see the difference.

The songs of "Patiala House" are very good. Completely unexpected, but then again, its Shankar Ehsaan Loy and not that 'Pritam' dude. Just because its a Punjabi based film, there are no fast paced Punjabi songs. The two best songs of the album are "Laungda Lashkara" and "Tumba Tumba" and both are medium paced Punjabi style sogns. Especially Tumba Tumba is more of a qawaali and in the lines of "Kajra Re". Its superbly done by SEL! I thought they have lost their material, but SEL are back in a rocking fashion! Lovely music.

Agreed, great work done by SEL, those songs are really good.
Also SEL have composed the WC song too.

SEL will do a good job at the World Cup song. This doesnt mean its a nosecut or something for Rahman who got lot of flak for his CWG song. I think Rahman is best when he does songs with melody and soul. For these types of sporting events, we need songs that have lot of energy and vibrancy and I think SEL will rock it up (thank god they didnt go for Pritam).

Yes. Its very ordinary. I felt CWG theme was better once the pace of the song starts picking up.
