I would have preferred they stick with DBC 14 and improved upon that but would they have got caught in the 'tweaking zone'
DBC14 introduced a revolution to cricket games and raised sky high expectations on 17, i agree. But Technology grew/grows too fast, may be DBC14 didn't have that scaling factor to live with this pace we are going towards.. that would be my best guess as such a massive growing companies like BA won't be making these kind of remodelling decisions just for fun or time pass. Embracing changes makes things easier than complaining about them. Even if BA starts from scratch to try for even more immersive things in next version, I personally embrace it to support them! This is far better than getting roster updates every year in the name of new version.
