Just like real cricket: patience. And don't get sucked into tempting gaps. You may get a few fours off but there is always a nick just around the corner.

Started a new career as a Kiwi no.2, playing for Surrey.

Our first 1st class game is against Somerset, and holy crap they are making me work.. Jamie Overton is causing me no end of problems. (6 runs off 39 balls faced, out of a total of 73* off 129).Luckily Steve Davies went ape-shit (82 off 77) so I didn't feel too bad about being 47 off 105 at one stage.

I'm enjoying the challenge of playing a low-stat player, and a higher difficulty again.. I'm ashamed to admit that I'm used to playing my 5 Helmet all-rounder on Amateur, so this is quite entertaining struggling and being happy to simply get down the other end. Although I really do believe that playing on Amateur for so long has actually helped my eye for batting, as in I'm used to actually being able to pick length, and to a smaller extent, line. I'm finding that even on Pro now I'm still able to do it, though not quite time them so well. (Hence my problems with J-O.) This game truly is amazing when you can play it so much, and still find something so simple as starting again so enjoyable.

Had the best innings I could ever imagine in cricket...

First had this really nice looking using LBW off a doosra [leg spin] in the first innings of England...



Then came into bat, started off well by rotating strikes and occasional boundaries...Reached 50..


Had an interesting leave, would have looked cooler if it had automatic leave animation...[This was a confident leave]..


Reached another century at International level...Was going along well and freely as well...



Having a very strong partnership with Raina...Both were making runs at a good pace...Soon reached 150...


Reached my first ever double century for India...


The scoring was out of control and we reached a humongous 300 partnership...


In the process reached 250 in quicker time as well...



We also managed to achieve 350 runs of partnership with Raina reaching his century as well...


300 was now definitely on cards and as expected reached without any struggle...Amazing moment..



After such a brilliant partnership Raina departed for well played 140..





And the moment arrived to do a LARA..



After such ridiculous scoring reached an unimaginable 500 as well after having another 200 run partnership with Jadeja...


After such a long long innings got out on 538, a catch in the slips trying to slog one...The best thing was we managed the run rate to an awesome 6.8 for the total innings...


The Scorecard

The shocking thing was Borthwick bowled only 6 overs...Look at the amount of overs the pace bowlers bowl...They would have retired after such a match...No part time bowlers bowling whatsoever...Really something that needs to be looked into for the next version...



Another thing I noted is if they are continuing with XP system for the next version as well, then what is the no.of runs required to gain full points..Scoring 500+ I get 1597....How is this decided??

No screenshots for you (I don't know how to on PS3 if you can at all) but we (England) lost the test series against South Africa 4-1 we me not scoring many runs in the last 2 tests of the 5 match series but I ended up 2nd leading wicket taker of the series behind Dale Steyn and 9th highest run scorer at an average of about 35. We lost the ODI series 2-1 after losing the first by 45 runs, winning the 2nd by 48 runs (which also saw me make my first double-figure ODI score of 25 off 12 balls) and then losing horribly in the final match by 6 wickets after I took 3 of them and got a run out to get rid of Hashim Amla in the first over (simulated of course ). Back to the English domestic T20s and I failed in the first game, did nothing in the second and took 5-for and 6-for in the next 2 games against Sussex and Hampshire to pick up 2 MotM awards.

NB: I am not that good a T20s or ODIs. My avg ODI score is currently 7.5 so... yeah...

Just beat Sussex in a T20 match for Kent. Pictures aren't great since they're captured from my samsung tablet but a nice MotM and cheeky 14 which is my highest t20 score for a while. Playing on Amateur difficuly. Wish I could change it to Pro nut I dont know how
