Hello,

This thread is to tell how experienced are you in ICC game

ICC 05 -

With.......

Bangladesh till 2088 =74 years (then file got corrupted)

Surrey till 2062 = 57 years

Lancashire till 2012 = 07 years

India 2005 till 2059 = 54 years

Total = 192 Years

ICC 06 -

With.......

India till 2068 = 63 years (then lost interest)

Surrey till 2034 = 28 years

W.I. till 2014 = 08 years

Total = 99 years

ICC 3 -

With........

India till 2012 = 05 years

Surrey till 2014 = 07 years

Again
Surrey till 2023 = 16 years

Total = 28 Years

I played plenty of 2 players series with my friends in all versions and also few single players which i dont remember.......

Congrats. Doubt anyone's going to beat that.

As for me, well, my total barely touches 2 years. Though I do watch every ball on highlights.

ICC05 only:

Bangla till 2011WC, which I won.
Zim till 2010, till I got sick of never having any decent regens or players. Did reach the finals of the 2007WC though, but lost.
Derbyshire till 2017 and ongoing
Essex till around 2012
Kiwis till 2009 and going. Won the 07WC.
Durham till around 2012

Tend to start and quit a lot. 37 years there, but I'm sure there are other games.

hardly 4 years in ICC 05 only game i played (full version)

ICC III looks good...

lol
Does that mean I am the only one who has nothing else to do ?

On ICC 2002, got to 2074 with Lancashire

On ICC 2005, 2054 & 2033 with Australia, 2033 with Somerset

On ICC 06, 2020-ish with a few teams.

On ICC III, 2009 with Somerset and Australia.

138

ICC 2002 with Worcestershire until 2102 (101 years inclusive), same game same team until about 2040 a couple of years back.

12

ICC2005/6 not much at all until they games corrupted and crashed when starting winter tours (about 6 years each...very sad, both went exactly the same way)

70

ICC2000 until about 2072

ICC1 and 2

200+

.....many many times ( I was unmarried and had no children in the late 90's) they both had 20 year limits though, but if you say about 5 times through with each (which is probably a very conservative underestimation) then that's be another 200 + years (Scott Ellis - what a star, The opener with the beard who played for Northants - looked like an art teacher, he was fantstic, and one allrounder -can't remember his name either, I want to say "Jamie" something - but I can't remember.

So, with a couple of years on ICCIII - about 500 years

In the last 9-10 years I'll be over the 500 mark for the series as a whole, still have my mini review of ICC1 on "cricketgames.com" sounding like an old git even back then. It was a great game back then - sadly it seems like more or less exactly the same game now, and it hasn't aged that well

I know I've said it before - but back then you had multiple coaching options, real photo's (and the ability to put your own in) and a few other nice touches...

Now they have been lost, we have Kolpak that doesn't work, and 3d graphics that are "ok - ish" ... all inside 8 (or is it 9?) new full price releases. The gameplay and depth is stubbornly back in 1998...I can't think of one single gameplay adavence in nearly 10 years.

Can anyone ?

Ooh interesting. I've played All versions bar ICC 2005 and ICC2006 (I've got the Ashes Edition) I must've notched up about 400 years in total. I was obsessed with the original ICC.

i've never kept track of the years i've been playing it.
My original favourite, ICC 2002, i played that for over 4 years continuously.
that's nearly 4 hours a day of addictively,mind-numbing,super-entertaining cricket management.
Then in September 2006,i switched to ICC 2006 and since then have stuck to it.
Right now am with Lancashire in season 2048.
By conservative estimates, i'd reckon around 250+ years of experience.
But i would still love to see the features of ICC 2002 brought back. a la Scritty.....the features of that game rocked everything.

What was the difference in the features of that game to the present one?

I never has my hand on ICC 02 ever.I wasnt that old enough to buy a game then and even dont think the game would have been availble in India then.

well.....for one ICC 2002 had players photographs.....and when regens came along who didn't have photos...you could put your own.
2.they had that awesome menu music.
3.the graphics were much less tacky looking.
4.the keyboard shortcuts to play the game were much more user friendly.in ICC 2006,they've removed some of the shortcuts.
