Wow.

If you have the money to spend $600 USD on a PS3, I dear hope to God you have the money to spend $150 USD on an HDTV (HDTVs come in smaller sizes too you know..)

I am amazed ppl actually spent $600 on a gaming console. I got PS3 coz I was in the market for a next gen console and I got it for a good price (around $190 odd) else would have went for XBox. I definitely wouldn't buy a new TV just coz I can't play a particular game without it.

I think when the PS3 first came out, it was $600 USD.

I could be (and am probably) wrong though, but the price was fairly high.

You can get a new ps3 for as cheap as $299 canadian these days
