I've been playing Ashes Cricket 2009 since the last one yr..however recently my system is infected with a rootkit.mbr virus which seems to be impossible to clean without a reformat. Since I'm on vista home premium x64...I think its time to upgrade to windows 7. I've a few questions regarding this:

1. What happens to my unlocks, player points and user data on this system? Can I copy it somewhere before format? Which folder do I copy from in vista?
And where do i put it in win7?

2. How does windows 7 respond to Ashes Cricket? Will the performance and frame rates be better than existing vista?

3. Will win7 ultimate x64 create any conflict with the game?

Any help will be appreciated

Cheers!!!

Documents -> My Games -> Codemasters -> Ashes Cricket 2009. You'll find some files there, simply take a copy of all. You'll need to paste them at the same location after formatting your system. Hope this helps! :)

Are you talking xp or vista?..I'm running on vista
Any idea on the performance and frame rates with win7?

I use Windows 7 and the game works perfectly after installing the beta patches provided by Codemasters. :)
