1: Try running the editor again. If the problem persists, re-install the game.

2: First select(single - click) the first item in the list. Then go in the search box and type. Press Go. This wont work if you are using Windows XP.

To edit the DDS textures in Photoshop, download the plugin mentioned in the index post.

Hey Yudi, great tutorial but i think you might wanna add these few tips in those too.

*If you wanna search for the kits of india then type "kits/India" and press go. Now you would arrive at only the kits files of indian team. If you had searched just "India" then you would have got some commentary, ambient files too and some west indian files. Coz they have the term India in it too. This saved my time a lot. It works same for other teams too. similarly if you wanna change sound specific to a team then type "speech/australian" . Indian speech files aren't visible in this version of the editor but some aussies, english and Westindian files are.

Some refined search terms:

For Indian Odi Kits: kits\india\odi
For Indian T20 kits : kits\india\twenty
For India Test Kits: kits\india\test

Bats: bats\<bat name>
for example: bats\codemasters


Using these search methods you can access the files faster without having to go through unnecessary files. I hope this helps


P.S: Cricket-Duke's kiyts are indeed more shiny than kabooka's. I have tested this by using kabookas kit for odi and CD's kits for T20. Due to shine they look yum yum

i can extract it, but i cant replace it. it doesnt accept dds files.

^^ Strange... Are you sure you have the dds file in correct format. Save the file in first default mode. Easiest way to check this is : Extract any file you wanna edit. Make a back up, then edit it and then save it. If this file and backup file are exactly same in size then you there is no reason why you cant replace. This is not a full proof way but it works for me.

dont worry i downloaded a dds viewer and now it works fine.

Thanks for your reply yudi. But iam using Vista and iam having this weird problem, i replaced everything but when i start the game some indian players pad are still not changed while others are perfect, what could the problem be?

^^:doh change every player's pad to either codemaster pad or transmission pad in Playor customization menu. Do this for wiket keeper's pad too .
