Vicks is good, but I'm not sure he'll get it where he lives![]()
I might be thinking about something different but can't you put that on your chest? Always seemed to work for me.
Also my mum used to put some liquid or something on a tissue and put that under my pillow at night. Can't remember what the liquid is sorry, but someone might know.
Yup, my mother works in a chemistbut she's not around at the moment so i cannot ask her! I'm so glad I can have access to Dr. Abhas!
Yeh you can, i smother it on my cricket shirt in the early and late season with a warmth creme thing which keeps my chest warm...the vicks makes sure i don't get a cold on the field and keeps a nice smell under my nose lol. Old rugby remedy.

You can't really do anything to shift a cold except get some rest. Sure you can do things to make you feel a bit better but you aren't treating the problem. Taking antibiotics is a waste of time, they have no effect on viral infections so your wasting your time there.
I'll have to try this in my next rugby match. I bet you didn't do it in front of your team mates otherwise you'd look like a bit of a plonk.![]()
No doctor worth his/her salt should ever, ever prescribe you anti-biotics for a flipping cold.
Just let your body get rid of it, you won't shift it any other way, as said by others, you may make the symptoms less painful.
