How will people of Pakitan buy the Game???

and Rafey being pakistani i only tell u one thing do justice to ur homeland atleast... let them have these games legibly or pirate make make it available at stores then people will buy this.. i m playing this game and the amount of common bugs r there ufff.. common so common... u will see and if people will not play this game online in pakistan or asia then its a total flop... restricted budget is not the answer. common errors..
The only common error in this thread is YOU, pal. Take your dishonesty and whining elsewhere.

There IS justice. The game is available only on steam at the moment. The boxed version has not come to retail stores as yet, not in UK, not in Dubai, not in Pakistan.
your game also has been pirated and majority in PAK using it.
Rafey i must mention you that you people really disappointed PAKISTAN majority
You did common mistakes in CR , no free hit , no proper power play , no solid AI , can't change names of test playing nations , batsman got stuck freeze after taking runs , no action replay ?
we played the game little late due to some credit card purchasing problems earlier but we purchased the game from steam to support you people , but you disappointed us by making common mistakes which were not expecting from PAKISTANIs

To Rafay...

i want to buy legal copy but not via steam im in karachi using a cable connection and have a speed of 30 kb/s, i cant download CR via steam please tell us (i have many freinds and they want to buy also) when will retail boxd version available in pakistan, if u have any issues releasing the retail version then plz let us know.

In all fairness its not as if the games financial success will be measured by the sales in Pakistan. Its how the game does in the UK/AUS and Indian markets that really matters.

Why are we even debating on the sales or the other unrelated topics. Now I might be out of the forums for long, but the discussion thats been carried out here by many members would have resulted in immediate ban from the forums. Why don't some action be taken in this account. I would also recommend to close this thread if possible because it will be a never ending debate between the US/UK, Canada, Indian and Pakistani consumers...........

Legal Copies are available in India?

Steam is available anywhere. Rest is all pirated.

No one feels sorry for you guys who are pirating and complaining about the price/steam release. This is exactly why no one likes to release games in your part of the world.

Its so funny that almost all Pakistani's on here have pirated copies. Not even supporting your own local developers. I have bought 2 bloody copies on Steam just to support a cricket developer that I have no ties to.

Shame on all of you and you wonder why AC09 was not released in Pakistan.

@Hmkara, We are there to support our developers. I strongly feel that if they believed in us Cricket fans, We would definitly be buying the original Copies from Retailes. They have to trust us and we have to trust them.

Surprised to see not many people in India bought this from steam. I thought the sales will be substantial here. But it wasn't. Maybe many people fear using credit cards on the net after all the news of credit card hacks and scams. Maybe. :sarcasm

I Agree with you

FOR ALL THOSE PEOPLE OUTSIDE PAKISTAN , SPECIALLY ENGLAND , I WANT TO CLEAR THIS THING TO THEM

IN PAKISTAN 95% PEOPLE DO NOT HAVE CREDIT CARDS

SO HOW WE GONNA PURCHASE WITH OUT CREDIT CARDS
AND MIND STORM DIDN'T RELEASED IN PAKISTAN

At the time of Brian Lara Cricket 2005, the genuine copies were available in the market and many people (including me) got those copies. I am also looking forward that mindstorm once releases the box version of the game, many people will get the genuine copy not only to support the developers, but also to enjoy this new venture in the cricket gaming.

Also regarding Credit Card debates, I think there is a total different scenario for online shopping or online order placement in West and East. It'll lead to another economic and financial debate that I don't want to start here.

Not having a credit card in this day and age is unthinkable. A poor excuse, I am guessing that most Pakistani's on here are fairly well off, I am sure your parents/uncles/someone has a credit card that you can use.

How the hell does your economy function without credit?
