I am a West Indian

I look forward to the day when the West Indies are mighty again.

I look forward to the day that will never happen, when all sides are strong enough that there is no real hope of dominance and sides aren't just playing opposition because they have to with the outcome pretty much known before they start.

You are clearly contradicting yourself, because you can't expect THIS West Indies team in its current form to compete properly with the best in the world. Seriously, do you think that India would have Praveen Kumar opening the bowling if they actually thought that West Indies were a threat?

I see your point, but the truth is that India are playing a team filled with second choices. Injuries or whatnot, it is truth. And this isn't a personal attack against you but the world wants to see competitive cricket from EVERYONE. But at the end of the day, there will be teams that aren't that great. Unfortunately, the West Indies team is currently one of those teams. And that article was written by a man who wants to see things change. I don't want the West Indies back on top. Far from it. I just want the West Indies to play the best team in the region, and that team must play the best cricket they are capable of.
