Yeah I understand what you're saying fully and I agree that admins can't be totally to blame. They do do a fantastic job. Just I feel that the C07 forum could STILL be tighter. Yeah there have been improvements but I think someone strict needs to be there and deal with the silly members. Yeah instead of just banning them it's better to try and get them to change but if they continue (which I've seen some members do) they should get punished more severely.

Anyway, I'll be away during the christmas period.

I think he lied about being German or something when he is quiet clearly Indian (i'm led to believe he is anyways, so maybe it isn't that clear!).

To be honest, I think we should leave it here, Colin, he's left so you shouldn't need to worry yourself about it. You get respect from a huge following here, all the admins/globies/staff do, well theres always exceptions to that ruling but overall i think its good.

To be brutally honest, I think a lot of problematic members (they may be active as hell, and try not to spam, but do) stem from that area. Its unfortunate but true.
 
This was a surprise to people? Tom's been as good as gone for the past few weeks, every post of his I've read of late has consisted of him moaning at the decline in posting, and the spamming of the 'young indian' members. I like the guy, but I actually find his moaning more annoying than any posts from members that he's talking about. I haven't even noticed this problem that he's been spouting about for the past few weeks anyway, it's certainly not spread into the areas of the forum that I visit.

If I become annoyed by someone's posting style, I ignore their posts. It's not difficult. Yeh, the forums aren't as good as 'the glory years' that we hear so much about, but it's not the worst forum in the world. At least it's not turned into /b/ or something ridiculous like that. I don't honestly see the benefit of bitching for a few weeks before announcing some official leaving of the forums. Just looks like attention seeking to me. If I get bored of the forums, I log-out, and return when I'm bored again. I don't see why you have to insist on making a huge palava over leaving the forums.

Course I am not going. Colin persuaded me back. Yeah I have been grumpy recently. Probs being moaping around the forum as well not showing the best side of me. It's dark and cold, that's my excuse ;) I need duded64 to cheer me up by showing how stupid I can be at times ;)

:eek::eek: I never intend to make anyone happy my aim in life is to make everyone feel bad :p I'll always be there looking for you to slip up :p

Leaving and creating a fuss is so last year :p Now its all about pretending you're not bothered and have nothing to lose (whilst secretly crying every time it isnt mentioned you havent been posting)

By the way apparently Glory years happen once every 10 years when Mr John Internet decides to let intellects on the internet for a 2 year period.

BTW it is not possible to hate me cause im actually a test from god to make sure that you can cope with struggles in life. We all love each other really on the inside despite not wanting to admit it :mad

With peace on the forum now what will we do :eek: Its going to be literally days till the next revolt... I guess I better start rallying the troops.

To make sure this isnt spam and offtopic I quit im leaving to go persue a career in selling sand to egypt, i could make a killing with this!
