I've always been one who felt the members should always be kept informed. So I would just like to let you guys know that I am resigning with immediate effect. So there are no secrets (or random rumours ) here is my post in the staff forum, explaning why:

Hey all.

Not sure if all the admins know or not, but I did tell Syl via Battrick of some problems I have been having in my personal life (women...) I have put a lot of thought into this and have decided I would like to resign (*not spur of the moment stuff, Zim *) I have really not enjoyed the moderating job, I hate having members constantly take you for granted and all the whinging PM's you get. Also, the demographic of this forum, imo, is getting younger all the time and I just do not enjoy viewing the forums anymore as they just appear childish.

I really do hope you guys keep up the fantastic work, you never do appreciate how much work the staff do, till you become one. I am sure when Ashes 09 and EA 09 are released you guys will have your hands full with all the modding and patching that is required.

So yeah. Thanks for the chance guys, all the best and KUTGW (I'll probs see a few of you on Battrick).

Feel's weird knowing that I have been here for 3 years, and in that time I have made some great mates. A few people I would just like to mention are barmyarmy, Kev, aussie1st, treva, Jordox, whitehornmatt, Griffo and Surendar. All fantastic blokes and I think you all have my new MSN, if you don't I'll get it passed onto you. But, sadly the forum has changed too much. Too many kids, too much 20/20, IPL chat and unfortunately it is just not for me.

Oh and btw. Speaking as someone who used to criticse the staff all the time. Lay off them a bit You won't even come close to guessing how much work they have to do. Having to moderate and approve hundreds of posts does leave you a bit short with people at times, so just think about that, next time you feel you have been treated harshly.
