I am leaving/back thread

Not really for us. There is one thing we have sworn not to talk about, but everything else is fair game.

But when you start drinking bottles of vodka straight after taking advantage of the all inclusive for several hours you know you are going to be in trouble.

Wasn't exactly inactive, but wasn't much active either due to the poor state of my health (high fever). Hopefully I feel a lot better today and can get back in action on PC soon.

What happened in Turkey, stays in Turkey, surely the unwritten rules do apply to booze trips abroad?

As long as we're talking about the country. If not the police can become involved as has happened to me numerous times. Never get pissed at a farm is all I'm gonna say.

no real police involvement with us at all, the two occasions we have been.

The first time though could have had something bad after my mate, naked, in the grounds of a hotel that wasn't ours, in the wee [sic] hours of the morning, threatened to urinate on a security guard.

In his defence he thought he thought it was one of us he was threatening.

Also this time some turkish lad (who we spent a few hours messing around with in a club, and have several hilarious photos with) stole one of our wallets. saw him a week or so later in the next town over, very restrained of us not to do anything violent. one of us nearly went for him but I managed to get him away. the lad only lost about a tenner, his bank card (his account wasn't accessed) and his provisional driving licence. Wasn't really worth causing an international incident over, and we would clearly have been in a lot of trouble with the local turks.

That's just one incident of theft though, i'd thoroughly recommend the area we went to to anyone. Also there were a few signals to him being a bit of a con artist anyway which I had picked up on, but he was a good laugh and so I gave the benefit of the doubt

Welcome back mate, hope you're doing better.

I'm going away tomorrow to my Uncles in Brisbane/Gold Coast for six days.
Been there like four times before, and it's the only place in Aussie I've been to.
Will probably just go to a few of the theme parks etc.
I'm not sure if I'll have access to the internet or not, but even if I do I probably won't be spending too much time on here.

I want to go somewhere else, but Brisbane's the only place in Aussie that we know someone in, so my Dad always wants to go there to visit his brother.
Don't worry, I'll get to Melbourne one day.

Got family in Cairns, Gold Coast and New Castle (wherever that is) But I've only been to the Gold Coast, pretty fun place.

Just because I didn't join your scrabble game, there's no need to get angry.
