After just about 3 years on the site its time for me to call it a day.

With no decent cricket games around (and little prospect of there being one any time soon) and with the site's shift to a more teenage chatty feel there is little to hold my interest here anymore.

I'd like to thank everyone who made my time here pleasant especially the staff team and I wish them luck with the site. I might pop my head in every now and then but for now its so long and goodbye.

That's a shame Kev, you were an awesome member here at PC, and even made some downloads! I will remember you for your C07 chat and stuff. You were one of the best Mods, I agree with you in the sense that there is no good Cricket game to discuss. C07 is good but no-one else plays it, or chats about it. BLIC is rubbish. But the ICC forum is going strong actually! Anyways, Cya L8er (Teenage Talk)

For a number of reasons, I, like many other members am deciding to call it a day at Planet Cricket.

I have had an interesting time on the forum. It all started with a misunderstanding of my attitude. I like to take the mick and generally have a good time, sometimes at other peoples exspense! This attitude cost me, but I wouldn't change getting put on mod-preview for the world. It made people take note! Haha! From there I met some good people, and some bad people. But the friendly community is what made me stay on for the most part.

My main reason for leaving is my lack of time on the internet nowadays as im starting to realise life is short and I have to make the most of my time. This sounds really cheesey, but it's sooo true! Over the past 6 months I have done a lot of travelling the world and want to do more. I want to go out and get smashed more, I want to go out and meet lots of new people. These things take time and commitment.

I hope you will remember me for many a good thing, and not too many of the bad. I will try my best to comeback and post every now and then, but I wouldn't count on it.

Here are some lasting memories of certain members:

The first four geezers I met at PC:

Kev - Old fart
Stevie - Caveman
Muel (Sam) - What a guy! Seriously one of the funniest I have met, and never judged. I wish him all the best at uni.
Briggsey - Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Langerrox - Bit of an arse at first but we ended up getting along
Barmyarmy (Colin) - Half a job
Evertonfan - Scummer
Gaurav - Top Indian guy!
