he wants a list of the players from Zimbabwe who are currently not playing for their country due to political reasons for the ICC 2006 Ashes version. So he can leave the out of his team.

Spot On!

Yeah I know. But I said Heath Streak, Blignaut and Ervine (who all arent playing for political reasons) and he said no. Not them.

Yeah, and they are in that version. Playing for County teams.

I never said No in any previous post, stop neg repping ireland and move on

The squad helps mildly but these are not nessacerily the best players in the game. thats why im trying to eliminate the rebel players

The best hope is looking through the county teams that have Zimbabweans.

Heath Streak and Sean Ervine (Hampshire) are two I know.

Im looking to exclude players who dont play for Zimbabwe anymore such as Ervine and Streak

Yeah OK.

Especially with posts like those;)

Sorry, Griffo. I can't tell with you sometimes:o

Health Streak
Andy Blignaut
Murray Goodwin
Sean Ervine

(Dont Know the next 4 are there or not but they are rebels)

Ray Price
Andy Flower
Henty Olonga
Grant Flower

Others not mentioned.

Gripper
Vermeulen (banned for ten years)
Dougie Hondo (walked out after the board told him to shave his dreadlocks aha)
Travis Friend
Dion Ebrahim
Dougie Marillier
Craig Wishart

Cool, were getting somewhere

Ive googled but I cant seem to find a definate list, Im sure there is more though

If you look through all the capped test and one day players, you'll find a lot.

I'll have a bigger search.

EDIT: I also forgot Anthony Ireland.

Last week's news that talks had started between the remaining rebels and the Zimbabwe board was welcomed by almost everyone, and Cricinfo has learned that another meeting has been planned for this Wednesday (January 26). Eight dissenting players - Heath Streak, Stuart Carlisle, Trevor Gripper, Grant Flower, Andy Blignaut, Raymond Price, Neil Ferreira and Craig Wishart - are involved.[/b]

Carlisle and Ferreira also involved. Colin de Grandhomme (now NZ) and Brighton Watambwa (USA) have also quit. Barney Rogers was sacked.

Go to the Zimbabwe page of Cricinfo and on top the left hand side you'll see a link called 'players\officials'. Click this and then click on 'test caps'. You will have to manually search player by player to see when they last played a test but as there are only 70 odd players it won't take you long.

So that you can't accuse me of not helping, here's the link.

Dougie Hondo (walked out after the board told him to shave his dreadlocks aha)

Is that true? What a passion for passion?!

Look here Griffmeister. A list if the "exiles". Makes me angry actually, Zimb could be so much better!
