Picked a couple of Danes to finish. It was a toss-up between Khan and Edmondson, but in the end I decided that Khan was more Danish. I also considered Henriques, but he's down as an Australian

Might be looking at a side like that if it conforms with the regulation. Showing some of the very best European passport holding talent, and if I was allowed eighteen men then there might have been places for the likes of Gareth Berg, Tony Palladino and Marcus Stoinis too.

James Pattinson for his raw pace. Surprised no one's picked him yet.

And then I'll go with Chris Amini, Jack Vare and Ray Hoada from PNG.

The ICC Club World Cup - Host announced!

Four countries had bid to host the inaugural ICC Club World Cup tournament.
In January 2014, ICC said that all of 3 countries had withdrawn their bids, leaving Serbia as the only bidder. The ICC has now officially announced Serbia as host.

In 2010, Oli Broom, the man who cycled 25,000 km from Lord's in London, to the Gabba in Brisbane, looked to search out cricketing hotspots in every country he visited, and he made it to Serbia. Hard to believe, but cricket is played in Serbia! He met Vladimir Ninkovic, who, with his friend Haris Dajc, founded the Belgrade Cricket Association in 2007, and Oli said that the 15-over match in the grounds of Belgrade?s ancient fortress that he played was certainly the most stunning backdrop to a cricket match that he has experienced.

Below, is a short film which gives a good introductory picture of Belgrade, ?a wonderful city with a painful recent past ? its ancient fortress dating back to the 4th Century AD, the faded, grand town centre, and above all the spirit of its people.?

Grounds:

Padinska Skela:
The most significant problem facing Serbian cricket ? infrastructure ? was partially solved last year, when the artificial pitch was completed. Being laid on the field next to the sports? airport ?Lisiciji Jarak?, a valuable patch of land was leased to them from the Aeronautical Union of Serbia. Hopefully, the ground will become the home of Serbian cricket, with some bigger investment planned for the coming years. Additionally, the construction of outdoor nets (two in south, two in east Belgrade) is planned for this summer. SCF hopes that these will be a landmark years in the development of cricket in the region. The new development projects will secure a sustainable future for the country?s cricket, and give us a platform to expand for years to come. Look out for Serbia!

Kalemegdan Park:
This is the scenic venue in the grounds of the Belgrade fortress. The ground is in the largest park and the most important historical monument in Belgrade. Its name is formed from the two Turkish words: "Kale" (meaning "fortress") and archaic word of Turkish origin "megdan" (meaning "plaza").

That Oli Broom book is a fantastic read! I also love how the best players in the world are set to be playing on a matting track and a path...
