His solution is like the one I support. Merge T20s and ODIs into a 40 over game for international cricket, and make T20 a domestic only format. That way you don't need to extend every international tour by a week to include 2-3 useless T20Is. Would save you a month every year for each team (as they probably do 4 series per year). That's extra time to play domestic cricket or to rest up for international series.
Would be interesting to see the non-rich boards do something about it eg. Sri Lanka were talking about picking a specialist T20I team, led by Angelo Mathews but being predominantly filled with guys who AREN'T playing the other formats. I'd love to see other countries do that as a protest against the international scheduling, and as a slight against the quality of T20Is.
