ICC World Cup or Champion's Trophy?

OK guys, this forum has been dead recently, so here's my attempt at starting a good discussion:

In terms of gameplay enjoyment, which BLIC 05 mode do you guys prefer playing: ICC World Cup or ICC Champion's Trophy? Although there is no real difference in gameplay between the two modes, there are however different squads to choose from and a different setting (WC in South Africa and CT in England) to play at.

A lot of people have said that they disliked the World Cup mode because, well, the real thing took place three years ago and playing it virtually now doesn't have the same feel or enjoyment. Champion's Trophy mode of course has more updated squads and thus some people prefer it over WC. Ever since I bought BLIC 05 I have been playing between the two modes to make up my own mind about which one is better...

Personally I like World Cup mode better; for one simple reason: Nothing can beat the Pakistani pace attack from the WC sqauds! Younis, Akram, Akhtar, Mahmood and Razzaq can alll be fielded in the side to be unleashed upon your hapless opponents! For me though, this means sacrificing the talents of Saqlain Mustaq (thus only having one spinner in the side- Afridi) and taking out Latif to make room for Mahmood- This means that Elahi has to be wicket keeper.

What about other people? Which mode do you enjoy more? And why? Feel free to discuss which mode has the better squads and line-ups.

I haven't really played the Champions Trophy exhaustively. I have also not placed past Medium difficulty, but it's been pretty easy so far. Maybe I should move on to test and then see.

Test is really hard to bat, and jokingly easy to bowl. In the WC i got skittled for 143 by zimbabwe, and i though i was in trouble. but no, i had them 34-2 after 50 overs!

I prefer the WC because its longer and i like using players like Alan Donald, Stewart, Wasim and Waqar.

Neither for me at the moment.I much prefer playing a test due to the challenge in getting the cpy out.Otherwise Im enjoying the double wicket competition,but it would have been better if more teams could be added to it.Also like the challenges although Im nearly done with all of them so it'll be boring from there on.

The best thing about the licensed modes is obviously the correct bats being used. I've got no real preference between the two as I've got classic and county patches to use over them anyway!
