EA own the licences - like in football games, EA hold the cards. So it was the ICC or nothing at all I'd guess.

Figured! i hate the way EA try to make a monopoly of every sport game!

Im sure blic is gonna be one of the defining cricket games before the 07 world cup!

Because we had the licence for ICC tournaments - for the individual countries, that licence has to be arranged with the individual country. It's all very confusing...

But EA has real names even for the countries that they don't have the licences for.

I think although i'm not sure about this, that EA Sports have a license from FICA to include real names of players from countries other than England, Australia, NZ and South Africa.

i think licensing should not give rise to monopoly! cuz the moment that point is reached competetion becomes minimal and the consumer or rather US ... miss out ... rather licenses should have agreements to allow other folks to use details and simply pay their dues!

For obvious reasons. He didn't play in the world cup or Champion's Trophy.
