Pakistan chased the total with ease but the credit goes to 17-year youngster(at that time) Ahmed Shehzad whose 2nd appearance in an ICC event turns out to be game-changing. Although Pakistan got a hiccup at the end which was too late for the Dutch. The Netherlands entertained us with their performances but it's over for them.

Sanath Jayasuriya, Another destructive left-hander had better plans for chasing the target as Sri Lanka chased down the mammoth total of 215. Even after the win, unfortunately, Sri Lankans were eliminated from the tournament by just slightest of Net Run Rate margins. Australia taking up the first place. Mahela Jayawardene's slow batting almost pulled the match away from Sri Lanka's hand, but thanks to Chamara Silva and Jayasuriya for their power-hitting in the death overs. Sulieman Benn got the first hat-trick of this T20 World cup but ended on the losing side.
