ICC08 League: DEADLINE FOR MATCHES 17 JUNE

i am getting super excited about this...this is shaping up well..how are you going to coordinate the timings..one suggestion is atleast in the group stages group up people from the nearly same time zones...also how are u going to ensure that the editor is not being used????

Alright, sign up is over. Thank you everyone for being so cooperative. Start playing! Also, to ensure that nobody is lying about who won the match, I need both players to confirm who won the match-ups.

Let me know what you think of having an FC match for the final.

Remember, the format and other rules are up in the first post. Check it out if unsure or if you haven't done so already. E-mail IDs have also been put up if you want to work out a time with your match-up.

I tried to make the groups so that everyone in the same group was in the same area. Xeehan and jjosh was the only problematic one. Other than that, it worked out very well.

Trust. If someone wants to be a douche and take all the fun out of it, fine, be a total douche. I'll just hope they don't. As for the coordination of timings, I've put up the e-mail IDs of everyone in the first post so you guys can work that out at your own time. Please try to get your matches done quickly because then we can organize this again once it's over and make some adjustments after seeing how it goes the first time. As for the suggestion about grouping people in the time zones, that's exactly what I've done.

Aiight, me and shrav have finished a series.

2-0 to him, I lost by 1 wicket in the first and 160 or so runs in the second. I really should've won the first.

Just a quick question, why is the final an FC? I mean, the whole tournament is an OD Comp and people have probably made a team full of OD specialists in em. Its kind of wierd to adjudge the winner based on an FC.
 
I've booked my place in the Super 6! The first match was particularly interesting. The conditions were very overcast so I sent in ALL my bowlers into bat before my batsmen (except the openers), leaving me my 5 batsmen. Two of them failed leaving me at 95/8, chasing 276. I had lost hope at this point with just 1 batsman left. However, somehow, some way, I ended up winning the match!

Thought it would be a better judge of the better player since it lasts longer. I can change that though.
 
hey shravi,wont it be better if we fix timings on the forum itself rather than by mail..also do screenshots to prove the winner..atleast il do that in my match...also please get me coordinated with naresh091 who is my opponent so that we can do our match early
