Idea on a mega patch for c2k5(pl read all as it needs your attention)

Hi

Latest news-Everything seems to be going pretty well.Id probably stick my neck out and say that if things keep running well,the mega patch could be released as soon as mid-september(abt 15 days or so frm now),otherwise ill try to make sure that the first version is released before the end of september.

my espn graphics with all ingame screes(ex cointoss and line up) all "end of" screens(exclu- end of innings) and pause menu is already touching 16 mb(with unzippedor unrared and files in big files uncompressed), guess what the whole size of mega patch would be(may be we need winrar again to get it to parts for dialup users)

No das it has already been planned that we are going to divide the mega patch into several parts,so dont worry abt the size,and i will also be making the patches self extractable so no need to worry abt ppl having win rar or not.

noprobs, huge files in the main cricket 2005 folder can slow the loading of game nothing else

Latest Update-Decided on using a graphics selector which will allow you to decide which overlay u want.
Decided on releasing mega patch at one time,but dividing the files for slower users and one big file for faster users.
Approximate date of release-around 2weeks.Let us know if there is anything specific you would want in the mega patch.

How is the mega patch going? I tried testing the crowds.zip and followed full instructions from voldemort but crowds did not change in any of the grounds in Cricket 2005.
There are some great pitch ads that have just been developed by Saurabh2185. Maybe you can include these in the megapatch.

Anyways if you can let me know how all is going it will be much appreciated. I am real excited about this megapatch. I wanna be one of the 1st to download!!!
