if you'r stuck on a deserted island what games would you take with you

Free Space 2: See thread of the same title.

NBA Live 2005: Awesome gameplay and graphics topped off with the dynasty mode, I could play forever.

GTA Vice City: No matter what people might say, this was a much better storyline than San Andreas. I could on top of a building and shoot people all day.

Need For Speed - High Stakes: I absolutely love the cars included in this game, and the tracks make for awesome time killing.

It would virtually bore you just to play games on an island.

There are heaps of options that would last for quite a while; I'll name some that would probably last FOREVER.

Final Fantasy X/VII/IX/VII - All these games are capable of 150+ hours.
NBA 2005/06 - Dynasty mode is awesome and can take forever to finish which is brilliant.
Pro Evolution Soccer 6 - When it comes out over here :D
Fifa 06/Fifa 06: WC (X360) - Both these games can last a long time :D
Counter-Strike: Cond Zero/Source - You can't say that this game will run out fast.
Sims 2 + expansion: :D
Sim City X000/X: Perfect for the long time games :D
World of Warcraft: Might as well as for help too while online.

Yeaps thats true, but i dont think i will play games there, i will search something to eat so that i can survive.
Good point. I'd take a Chocolate Chess game that I saw at the airport once. When you take an opponent's piece, you eat it. Unfortunately I'd have nobody to play the game against, as it is a deserted island.

Unless you mean a deserted island. In this case, this island could be Tasmania, as Tasmania is an island state, and when you look at it, sometimes Australia does desert Tasmania in comparison to the mainland states. As I already live in Tasmania, I wouldn't need to take anything with me as it would already be here.

Yeah, which reminds me- in PE, back in March or thereabouts, we were discussing the Commonwealth Games and stuff, when our teacher brought up the topic of the 1982 Brisbane Opening Ceremony....'nuff said! :p
In case anyone doesn't know, they "forgot" to include Tasmania on the stylised map outline thing!

even gamespot has an similar article to this
It's Pick Five time again, and this time the topic is: "Pick five games--the only five you can take with you." If these editors got stuck on a desert island (or some...other location that would be difficult to leave), these are perhaps the last five games they'd ever need to play. Read on and find out what their picks were. And feel free to add a comment with five games that you'd take with you.

UT 2004/2007 can play these for years

the whole NFS 5:porsche unleashed: the best of lot.

Age of Empires 2: No game close to this one.I still play it.

Civilization IV: the only game that had the capacity of keeping me awake for 24 hrs. apparently, my mom simply shut it down when she saw I was still playing it in the morning.

Elder scrolls: the games are just right.

for some sports. I will take FIFA 2006, and hopefully TCP.

and ritwik, Age of empires III is total bore, I played the campain 2 times, and got totally bored.nowhere close to the wonderous AOE II.

leo fifa sucks you should try PES
does it?
I play games only on PC, and I have quickly found out that it's difficult to enjoy FIFA 06 without a controller, at least pervious games very little keyboard friendly.
how is PES in this department?

One more game I forgot to add is neverwinter nights: it's one of those games which has never been given the credits it was due. It's like diablo series, but much better.

PES also plays a lot better with a controller, but then do most sports games.
