Im going To Reinstall Cricket 2004

Really? But I dont use eBay. I can't bloody Register!

Ok I have a question. I am trying to update the commentary names, but need some advices about this. I can see the commentary number and the file name for the player commentaries, however, in Sound Importer, I am getting quite confused to find the same file of the commentary. For example, I can see in the Player Editor that Hannan Sarkar's commentary file is 244, and the file is Hannan Sarkar.ogg, however, in the Sound Importer, the files are Number_0001.ogg..................Number_6603.ogg. All the files contain all the audios included in the game, but because of the huge numbers of files, I am failing in the attempt to find the file I am looking for.Any help reagarding this would be great help.

And what would be a good text-to-speech software to edit the names for the game? At the moment I am simply using the free trial version of TextAloud.

No I am not unduly worried about the exit sound at the moment, the thing I am worried about is the outdated roster and commentary names.

May I please request to know how to look for specific files in snd_pc.pak with Sound Importer and what a good text-to-speech program would be??

Have a look at [post=145217]this post[/post], it will give you some idea about which number corresponds to which file.

Im currently in the process of buying one from someone in Perth. But that price looks good!

I think enough people are playing this game to release some new updated patches for the game. I myself created some scratch bats but they seem to be larger than the space allowed for bats. Anyone interested to help or make some new patches?

Yeah I promise I will, when I get the game and the Player Editor, I will make an updated Roster file!

That might be a little difficult Hooper, a whole roster consists many many teams. Editing all of them will be quite difficult. Plus many of the players have also retired, so in order to replace the commentary names for the old players, you may also want to edit the sounds as well, which will take an unbelievable amount of time. So unless you have almost endless time, you may not want to do it ;) .

EDIT: Can someone please help me?? I have made two bats so far, but they seem to take up more space than the original files. Therefore the bats do not appear ingame and the game crashes. Any suggestions??

I will just do the basics of updating a Test Roster - Making new players and deleting old ones. I wont bother with commentary for new players. It may be basic, but its better then using the old players.

I hope you have patience! Having done a roster for Cricket 2004, I know it can really test your patience because it is a slow and boring process.
