Story India hosts Australia for a five test series

I am going to write a new story here as India hosts Australia for a five test match series followed by a tri-nation one-day series which will also involve England as third team. I will be using Eddie's field patch, videocon and planetcricket pitch mat and all the 48 bats. I will be playing as India and will do all the batting but will autoplay the bowling for India. So stay tuned and please reply because I cant put much effort in the game if I lacks support.

Many channels bid for winning live telecast rights but Channel 9 won in the end and will shows all the test matches live. Here is the tour fixture

Both Australia and India named their teams and the final 11 players will be chosen from these 20 players. Some strange selections there in Indian team with Rahul Dravid taking over the captaincy from Saurav Ganguly. This will be Dravid's first test series as regular Indian Captain so he has something to prove here. Here is the list of strange sections:-
W Jaffer- An opening batsmen from Mumbai.
R. Gavaskar- Son of legendry Sunil Gavaskar and a middle order batsmen from Baroda
A Bhandari- Right handed fast bowler from Delhi
S. Bahutule- Right arm leg spinner
S. Bangar- Only regular allrounder in the team

First test match is just about to begin as all eyes will be focussed on how very strong Indian batting lineup tackles great aussies bowling attack. Here is the match preview

So all the wait is finally over and the first test match is about to begin. Both the captains are in the middle for toss. Dravid calls Heads and it is Heads. India have won the toss and without any doubt they are going to bat first here. Australian Captain Ricky Ponting didnt looked disappointed as he believes his fast bowlers can take full advantage here of pitch favoring seamers in the first session. First session is going to be very crucial.

India once again trying a new opening pair and this time it will be Dhoni with Sehwag. Gavaskar has ben given a chance here as middle order batsmen. India will be having high hopes with him. In bowling attack India is going two spinners Kumble and Harbhajan to exploit Aussies weakness against spinners. The only two seamers will be left handers Zaheer and Pathan.

Everything is set to begin as players get ready for the start of the match.

So first Dhoni will go against Mcgrath. Some early on fiery bowling from Mcgrath and Gillespie as they constantly beat the bat. Some great bowling from Aussies but no backing by the fielders as both openers are dropped at the slips and given easy lives.

Both openers somehow managed to pass first half hour without giving India any early blows and completes a 26 run partnership.

So far so good for India.

But India quickly runs out of lucks and Australia gives India first blow due to a terrible misunderstanding between the two over a close single and Ponting makes no mistake. India losses its first wicket as Sehwag goes for only 12 and India losses its first wicket on 26.

Australia strikes again, this time Mcgrath is rewaded for its brilliant bowling as he traps Dhoni LBW. Dhoni goes for 14 and India losses its second wicket on 29.

Not a good start by India.

This early fall of two wickets brings India's two best batsmen Dravid and Sachin to the crease. Both play cautiously as Aussies show some great bowling. Slowly both took India past 50 run mark.

Both took India to Lunch without any furthur loss. So India goes to Lunch 72/2 with Sachin on 18 and Dravid on 26.

A very slow batting there from India in the first session as they managed only 72 runs in 29 overs. But it was not due to Indian batsmen slow batting but due to some world class bowling from Aussie seamers. We didnt see Warne in the first session but we did see some bowling from Katich as he bowled 5 overs for no success.
