Just for your information, till few years back Rahane averaged 67+ in FCs and Mukund had it around 55 (57+ in List A). So actually they have been on the downslide just a bit. Obviously the number of matches has its on impact on the stats but yes in general they have not been as successful as they were till a few years back.

But still Mukund is better than some local batsman who are performing quite well in this league plus maintaining a 50 plus avg is not a joke.

He surely is despite having an average of 40 odd in last few years but if we as in me and my partner have not hit the panic button for Virat Kohli getting out for a 2 ball blob, a single digit score from Mukund with SR of over 100 should not bother you much.

Actually I was talking about ODIs, Mukund hasn't played any ODI thus makes him an inexperienced player in-front of international teams and against world class bowlers like Ajmal, Steyn etc..so it makes Rahane better than Mukund and also Rahane averages 25 in ODIs so it's a plus 1 for him but who knows that Mukund might play well against international bowlers than Rahane ?
