India In SouthAfrica
India Vs SouthAfrica
Second Test,Live From Kingsmead, Durban.
Day 4, 8:00AM.

( Taking Guard, Second Test, Day4 --- Preview )
Hello and warm welcome to Kingsmead stadium at Durban for the fourth day's play between India and SouthAfrica. Well, there are some more minutes left for the play to get started. We might expect an thirty minutes early start as well to compensate the lost overs yesterday due to rain. With SouthAfrica going very well in last session, the first session is going to be very crucial for both the teams. Lets look at the weather and pitch reports now.

Weather Report On Day4.

Well, atmosphere here at the moment is already very fresh and chill... and there should be some sunshine expected later. The current weather is very cloudy.. but the skies are clear which means that there might be no interruptions in first session. And also, some sunshine expected in afternoon session which is a very good news for all cricket fans. The problem is with the evening session where some showers are expected.. If not showers, there are chances of heavy cloudy conditions affecting the lights in the last session. So we have to wait and see how it turns out till the end of this day. The good news was, there were no showers for the whole night yesterday.
Pitch Report : Well, the pitch's flat nature has not changed. But we are having some cracks opening up which are handy for spinners. The outfield has some wetness still because of the rain yesterday.. so it is expected to be slow and some problems for bowlers early to grip it once the ball travels near the boundaries. Apart from these, the batsmen are expected to enjoy this wicket provided they maintain their patience. Among the bowlers, spinners are expected to shine more than the pace bowlers.
Indian Team's Preparations,Day4.

With two crucial wickets, Indian bowlers are left with the tough job to grab all the 8 wickets before SouthAfrica crosses their follow-on margin to stand a chance to win this game and the series. Its not going to be easy though for the bowlers. But there has been lot of hardworks seen in practice nets by the Indian team.
The coach and the skipper, as usual, were busy in tracking and monitoring the performances of players and developing the strategies for Day4. The bowlers were having the some tough net sessions and some physical exercises as well. Indian team have to perform something extra ordinary to outsmart the home team to grab the victory despite rain playing a spoil sport.
Home Team's preparations,Day4.

At the same time, its also going to tough time for the home team to play the spinners in last two days that too with cracks opening up. The batsmen need to be very alert and should be able to judge the line/length correctly to avoid throwing away the wickets.
The players were found taking some practices. Smith, Prince and Gibbs were all trying to focus hard in their batting net sessions. There should be some preplanned strategy for home team on Day4. Their first target must be trying to cross that follow-on margin as soon as possible to take the game towards draw and thereby can stay safe in levelling the series with third test coming up. The pressure is more on SouthAfrica to stay in this competition.
Crowd Expected on Day4.

With current conditions, definitely more crowd is expected for first two sessions. But by now, they are expected to bring some alternatives incase if rain turns up again on Day4.
Also, this is a very crucial day of this match where both the teams are fighting... India for series win and SA for staying safe in this test series. So, in general, there are high expectations for a huge crowd to turn up on Day4!

With both the teams hoping to have their best time on Day4, the first one hour is going to be very crucial. We have to wait and see how it turns out and all the actions starting in few moments.
