SACHIN & SOURAV ---- Very Watchful!!!

After three early wickets, Sachin clearly explained the strategy of playing with patience!!! So both were very watchful!!! When Ganguly faced the first ball after a long time, there was a huge roar shouting " Dada!!! Dada!!! " Ganguly left the first ball to go pass the keeper as it was little wide and doesnt want to take any risk!!!

GANGULY's CONFIDENT START!!! (Animated!!!)​

The very second ball Ganguly faced was smashed for four!!! It was an excellent placement... The ball was hit with great confidence!!! Immediately Sachin appeared near Ganguly and had some chat.. He was telling Ganguly clearly not to sacrifice the wicket.... So Ganguly got off the mark with style... After that both the batsmen were very carefull!!!

Lara made the first bowling change and brought Collymore in one end!!! Ganguly was in the striker's end. The field was adjusted a bit!!! But there was clear indication that the line is going to be outside offstump for Ganguly!!!

FORTUNE FAVOURS GANGULY --- Catch Missed by Sarwan!!!

Ganguly, as usual, was tempted to go for a silly shot that was unneccessary at this crucial moment.... But Ganguly was very very lucky that an easy catch was missed!!! Sarwan was the fielder!!! Lara thought for a moment that fourth wicket was down but cannot believe to see Sarwan dropping the catch!!!

CAN THIS PAIR COMPENSATE THE EARLY DAMAGE ???

Well, Sachin and Sourav had already built a steady thirteen runs partnership that includes two boundaries ( One from each )!!! Can this steady turn to a big partnership... Sachin is looking confident at the moment...But Sourav, inspite of the confident start, seems to struggle with the footwork a bit!!! There were frequent discussions between Sachin and Dada!!!

But Lara is mainly targetting on the Master as he knows the importance of him (also he had already experienced in the first test)!!!

If Ganguly was facing Brett Lee he would have had his off stump rattled first ball I reckon he'll go on to make around 40-50 runs before playing a stupid shot and getting out.

And there are many reasons why Ganguly was dropped, look on www.cricinfo.com and search for articles on it for the specifics. It was mainly because of lack of form and a disagreement with the coach.

GREAT RESCUE BY MASTER AND SOURAV!!!​

Well, after the early damage, this pair was in complete determination not to loose wickets!!! Though Sourav was struggling a bit with footwork, Sachin was having a regular chat boosting the confidence of Dada!!!

Sachin was in total control and decided to change his strategy to a attacking type.... He looked very confident in playing his shots and went over the bowlers even for a single!!! Dada on the other end was watchful trying to build a good innings!!!

COLLYMORE was bowling to Sachin,

FIRST BALL :- Collymore delivered the first ball and Sachin went over it!!! The ball went in air between the second slip and Sarwan!!! Sarwan is tested once again!!! He made a huge attempt of a full stretched dive!!!! Infact the ball almost reached his hands but there was a slight millisecond gap in the timing of dive and the ball managed to clear Sarwan and went to the boundary!!!

FORTUNATE SACHIN ---- Brave Attempt by Sarwan!!! (Animated !!!)

Well, Sachin was very lucky in that moment!!! Sarwan gave a sarcastic smile... Lara was bit disappointed though!!!


SECOND BALL :- Sachin played his favourite shot on offside shot with great power... It exactly bisected the fielders and went in gap for a boundary!!! Lara and Collymore were disappointed!!! That was a typical Tendulkar shot and spectators were excited to see the consecutive boundaries!!!

THIRD BALL :- Sachin continued the same aggression and went again in offside!!! Sachin was determined to pick double but Ganguly was bit slow!!! He still pushed him for double and it was fortunate that the throw was on Sachin's end and the master was fast enough to be safe!!!

These three balls have already produced 10 Runs!!! After some disappoints for Indian fans early in the innings, there is been a real entertainment now provided by the Master.

SACHIN Vs COLLYMORE --- Great Entertainment!!! (Animated!!!)

BALL 2-6​

FOURTH BALL :- Sachin went for the backfoot shot and it again managed to pick the gap between two fielders!!! It was almost a boundary but was well fielded at the end producing a comfortable double!!! Sachin was going over Collymore with great confidence despite of the worse situation existed at the beginning!!! This over is looking like an ODI now!!!

FIFTH AND SIXTH BALL :- In the Fifth delivery, Sachin played an aggressive shot in straight and it cleared the inner fielder producing a boundary.
In the Sixth delivery, it was identical to the fifth but the ball was in air at great hieght and the distance was also slightly increased!!! Everyone expected a six but it managed to end as a one bounce four!!!

This has been a magnificent over for the Master!!! Indian fans are jumping in their seats!!! Except the first ball, remaining five balls revealed the quality and the excellent form of Sachin!!!

Collymore's Last Over :- 4,4,2,2,4,4

SACHIN AND SOURAV --- Crossed 50 Runs Partnership (Animated !!!)

Sachin and Ganguly crossed 50 Runs partnership at the end of the Collymore's poor over that gave 20 Runs!!! Indian Score also raised to 64!!! Lara is very determined to break this pair as he doesnt want to let the chance again to slip from his hands!!!

SACHIN REACHED 42 IN JUST 33 BALLS!!!

Master is looking for his half century now!!! He is playing a vital role again, but this time with the support of Ganguly!!! This pair had already had many successes in ODIs.... Also its a good sign for Ganguly as a supporting role to Master!!! Lara should break this pair especially Master to be on the safe side!!!
