Hi people, I was just wondering what is everybodys best individual performances with the bat and ball for their clubs or whatever? my best batting is 37 not out(although i aint a batsman) and my best bowling is 4 for 1
I have a real problem, i have trouble getting more than 3 wickets in a game. In the last 2 adult seasons (my only 2 also), I have got 6 3 fa's and no 4 fa's. Very frustrating. But hopefully that will change next year as I will be bowling more as vice-captain
ha ha, nice ones there. Well we played in school quite a lot . And one day we chased down 150 in 12 overs. Don't know how much I scored but almost 50. And most of time during my playing days I always hit consecutive sixes in two balls followed by a four. Don't know how but always happened with me. And one day 14 were needed of 3 balls. Guess what I did - 6+6+4. Don't play now though. LOL :happy
Ok, let me remember! I was 14 then.. So let me include it as junior!
JUNIOR
4-16 & 18* (It was a 10 over game and I bowled 2 overs!). I eventually won the game from my team and had wild celebrations because the team we were facing were all big boys who were 16 to 17 years old!
SENIOR
I dont play much these days but my best has been 5-17 in 5 overs and a little 34* last year when I visited India!
I've been in the USA since I was 14, so I haven't played any real cricket in 8 years. But back home, these were my best performances:
4/10 and 4/6 (hatrick) in back to back matches. We lost the first one but the latter was pretty much won by my team in the first over of the match when I took out three of their best in the first three deliveries.
But the highlight of my cricketing days has to be when I bowled to THE best cricketer from my hometown for the first time and took his wicket when nobody else could.
As for batting, 14* is the best I ever had, which came in a double wicket tournament.
