Yep Aus, you hit the nail on the head. That desion is totally up to each forum. Ricky said it wouldn't be a bad idea but it's up to you guys. Also a new stats system is going to be used.

I will elaborate more on it later. I am currently fine-tuning some of the finer details.

A new system is being introduced to World Series cricket. It is a simple. After every tour, Home or Away, your stats will be updated, for better or for worse.

Every player will start off with the base averages of

Bat/Bowl

Batsman 45/99
Keeper 42/99
All-Rounder 35/35
Bowler 10/23

After each tour these will be updated.

Lets say after the three ODI's, Player X has scored 160 runs. That means he averaged 53. I now change his stats to match. Of course, there is a limit. The lowest batting average you can have is 38. For example Player Y hits 50 runs from his 2 games. That means he has an average of 25. This is under the limit, so it would be put at 38.

The same works for bowlers as well. They have a max bowling average of 28.

The Limits are(For there lows. There is no limit on how high your average is):

Bat/Bowl

Batsman 38/99
Keeper 35/99
All-Rounder- 30/40
Bowler- 10/28

Of course some people have very high averages due to not outs. This will be counter-acted with a plan to work out a fair average for them.

Ok fellas here is a guideline that you guys have to have done but Mid- Late January.

1. Choose your squad of 18 players.

2. Come up with a logo, Ground Name and Team Name.

3. Name a captain and Vice-Captain

4.? Possibly play a few practice matches.

Too easy fellas, plenty of time.

That's only 15 players and it hasn't been updated since the start of the season, there's people in there that don't even play.

No Bat/Bat alrounders for this comp, for the first season. That will be something brought in next season. All Pure all-rounders.

Well I know that rickyp prefers this, but any chance we could stick to 15 players? It gives our players a better chance of all having a fair go, and for a specific form of the game in a squad it woudl be good to have 15, it is about what you'd name in real ODI or Test Cricket for a specific squad (like the World Cup)

Yep go for it. You can have any squad over 13, you just run the risk of a few players stop posting, and these squad are unchangeable.

yeah that squad is very out dated, we are gonna pick a team based on posting merit and not stats so we can fill out the threads by light years compared to other teams

Indeed it is. I better be in it still, I assume rickyp will put himself in as skipper, so being someoen who has a better average and wickets than him, and posting regularly right now for no reason, I should make it.
