Transfer Period Begins​

The transfer period for IPL Season 1 begins. Franchise owners can discuss amongst themselves the players they wish to transfer (actually trade), if any.

Please remember that an Indian player can only be traded for another Indian player and a foreign player can only be traded with a foreign player.

Icon players cannot be traded at all.


Examples:

Valid Trades:

• Paul Collingwood and Tilakaratne Dilshan
• Ashok Dinda and Ishant Sharma
• Murli Vijay and Parthiv Patel

Invalid Trades:

• Paul Collingwood and Murli Vijay (As the first player is foreigner and second is an Indian)
• Parthiv Patel and Kevin Pietersen (As the first player is Indian and the second is foreigner)
• Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag (As both the players are Icon Players)
• Sourav Ganguly and Shivnarine Chanderpaul (As one of the players involved is an Icon Player)

The Transfer Period ends exactly after 24 hours from now, that is at 5:00 PM IST (11:30 AM GMT) tomorrow.

If a deal is accepted within two franchise owners, both of them should post about it in the thread.
