Planetcricket cricsim CEO has announced the mystery XI to face TFFSL in its upcoming tour of PC. The side, which was originally named as an invitational XI, has been announced as the 'PC Mod's XI'

The side, which will be captained by administrator Colin "barmyarmy" and the XI is as follows:

1. barmyarmy (c)
2. surendar
3. Sureshot (wk)
4. manee
5. stevie
6. nightprowler10
7. treva
8. aussie1st (vc)
9. aus5892
10. Brett_Lee
11. whitehornmatt

brad352 will officially carry drinks, despite being one of the few people in the side who actually plays cricsim. Brad told a press conference that he was being eased in ahead of the ac tual tour, but skipper barmyarmy refused to comment, though he was heard mentioning the words brad and dud under his breath.

The side will host TFFSL on the 9th of March, to kick off the highly anticipated tour, at 'Ste's Backyard.' A capacity crowd of 30 is expected, but Ste's wife is not expected to allow any more. Light refreshments will be served.

Very poor decision to have a team of mods! It should have been the players in Cricsim who have no chance to get in the real squad.

Mod team = boring old bats who won't be able to banter with the TFFSL.

Good luck, Mods! :thumbs And its surprising to see inactive players on the list. I agree with Skate that active players that won't make it to the PC squad should have been part of this team. :)

A lot of net sessions should make up for it. Luckily for me that didn't involve going to Ste's backyard early, I spent enough time there before becoming a globie and I can't say they were fond memories.

As far as the mods go, all in the XI expressed interest in being part of the team (which was my idea) and that's the real reason that brad was left out, because he didn't respond.

As for the alternative, let me say that the squad to play TFFSL will be purely based on activity and will not take into account form or results at all. Those who deserve the call-up will get it.

To make a team of players who won't make the team would really just be rewarding those who don't deserve it.

The mod's XI is supposed to be a bit of fun and nothing more. TFFSL only wanted one tour match so this was an idea for everyone to watch the mods struggle in a game of cricsim.

OK, so the mods have expressed interest & are going to stay active, then its a very good idea. :)

That seems right now since the Mod XI is going to be active.

Yes the mods have all committed to the exercise.

Once again, the squad size itself will be based on how many people deserve it. If lots of active members are worthy of a spot, we'll go the maximum 18.

Well I didnt opt out, thats implied interest.

We can make her carry the drinks for me surely
