Good luck Ireland Rule. I wouldn't be putting all my money on Ireland at this stage but St. Patties day should give them a win against the Pakistanis.

Press conference with Trent Johnston

Ireland captain, Trent Johnston attended a presss conference packed with anxious reporters, most of the questions were asking Johnston what he hoped for the World Cup. Johnston replied mostly with that Ireland didn't expect to win all their games but hoped they could maybe pull off a shock. Their intentions were to put up a good display which the Irish public could be proud of and to let the World know that Ireland are serious about Cricket.

With Ireland's first game, against Zimbabwe coming up the Irish got into the swing of things as it was announced all major Irish cricket grounds would be having a big screen in place to bring the World Cup to the Irish public.

Zimbabwe Win The Toss

Ireland captain Trent Johnston lost the toss but it turned out to be a good toss to lose. Zimbabwe chose to field first on a dry pitch. Today is very humid and it seems like a batsman's paradise, is there a method to Zimbabwe's madness?
