Is India playing too much cricket ?

After going through this thread,i have come to a few conclusions :

1. All teams are playing quite a lot nowadays.
2. Players are handed out contracts and are expected to work/play like professionals.
3. Cricket Boards need to build up a benchstrength.

New Zealand are playing far too little. So are Bangladesh. Teams like Ireland and Kenya could be playing more ODIs too.

Mainly NZealand. They're far too good to be given as little importance as they are.

Also another point, some of the comments in this thread are sounding as if the India team is doing road sweeping for a living. Their playing their fav sport doubt their complaining...

New Zealand do need to play more last time I saw them bar the world cup was in that Chaplle-Hadlle series which was so short...Hold on arent NZ coming over here this summer along with South Africa?

New Zealand should definately play more cricket. They play so less cricket that even Bangladesh plays more games than them.

When players are in side they complain of too much cricket and when they are dropped they will play all domestic tournaments also and say they want to play international also!!!!!!

Not very often. And thats in ODIs, not tests.

Schedules do not always show the rest.

For e.g,India have just 3 days in between the Aus Test and the Pak test this year.Add to that the flyinh time to Aus - when will they practice and get acclimatized to the conditions ?
