Having spent countless hours setting up Cricket 2004 and with the fantastic help of this forum and its members creating brilliant patches, I eventually got Cricket 2004 to be just about playable, I now enjoy the game again.

I'm kind of nervous about getting 2005! Having read the bug list, the sound faily minor compared to 2004 but I dont want to have to spend the same amount of time getting this game up to scratch too.

Of those of you have made the switch, do you think its worth getting???

It's a fair bit better than 2004, but you'll still end up needing patches to get a good contest- difference being it's only a bit of tweaking required rather than redesigning a whole game like we did last time :)

rent it first maybe...i find it quite enjoyable and i was one that was very negative about the game. My brother bought it home the other day, i played it not expecting much but to my suprise it's ok!

A very good question, I too have not yet bought C2k5 for the same reasons, will be interested to see how this pans out, especially after the "newness" of the game wears off. Maybe I'll buy it later in the year but at the moment I don't think it's worth it.

f you have cricket 04 there is no point just download stuff on to it. if you havn't you don't know what your missing. just run down to a game shop and buy it

Don't bother, EA have rushed this and it's too like Cricket 2004 for my liking. Keep patching that up, maybe buy Cricket Coach and then wait for Cricket 2007.

I have had mixed feelings about buying this game. On one hand, the graphics are freaking amazing, as good as they can get (depending on graphics card), the gameplay, from what I've heard, has improved, but I can bet its not up to par like BLIC. Some of the options this game has cannot be found in BLIC, and vice versa. All it comes to is this, what am I gonna pay for this game?

So, what's the least expensive price I can get C2K5 at on the internet, can anyone help me with that? Thank you in advance....
